On Tap: A Blackmail Tale

Interestingly enough, the term “blackmail” has nothing to do with a postal envelope. Let alone a black one.

It originates from the Old Norse word for “payment” or “arrangement,” and of course “black” referred back then to the color of evil, at least among the Scottish farmers forced to part with livestock, land or other valuable possessions to feudal landlords when they couldn’t pay their rent on time.

Or, for that matter when they couldn’t pay mob-style “protection” payments to the infamous Border Reivers, who burnt the crops and sacked the property of those who refused to cough up the tribute, known literally as reditus nigri … or blackmail.

Well, we’ve stumbled upon a story that involves all of these historical elements …

It’s a tale so fanciful and far-fetched that the first time we heard it, we gave it about a 10% chance of turning out to be true.

But over the course of the last few weeks, our sources ended up (as always) being dead on the money.

This weekend, we’ll share what we know of the tale with you.

Sensational, scintillating … stay tuned.

Dead on the money like the wacko sources who clued you in to the fanciful and far-fetched story that a Midlands’ elected official has a Strom problem. Or the equally fanciful and far-fetched story you “broke” that the gub’ner paid off the family of a “poor little black girl” in Beaufort.

sic(k) willie, all you do is break wind. You copy material from news releases and other publicly available sources and claim a scoop – of kitty litter.

When you have nothing, you make something up or post soft core porn.

You are a fraud. Everyone knows it. Even Mab knows it. Don’t you, sweety!

There seems to be a lot of that going around FITS. If you want a real news story, try the one about Social Security paying fraudulent accounts that are tied into Medicare Part D accounts being subsidized by the state of South Carolina. ITS FRAUD, ITS EXPENSIVE AND IT”S THE REASON SC”S SICKEST AND POOREST CANNOT GET HELP>
that’s a story…. and you betcha blackmail is involved in that one too.
Most of SC’s politicians are involved in this one!

I really don’t care about most of the topics or people discussed on this site. Everyone is operating out of complete self interest and its all a bunch of BS. For some reason, I skim this blog anyway. All that being said, BIN seems like the biggest goober I’ve ever seen. Seriously BIN, you just say the same dumb ass crap every single time. Just go find something productive to do. Clip your nails, work out, start a diet, go talk to a girl, whatever dude, just stop being yourself now before it gets any worse and someone figures out who you are.

BIN — let’s meet for ice cream. Dutch treat, self serve. We don’t need no stinkin’ waitresses.

You MUST somehow come to the knowledge that those aren’t healthy assumptions you are making re: my sweetness.

I don’t know if we’d have enough space on this site to cover a Donnie Myers story…

OK, so where is it? Every time you write something that ends with, “Stay tuned” or “More to come” or “evolving” that seems to be the end of it.

    Mab,

The unnecessary use of caps (as in MUST) is bad form and manners and suggests some deep inner frustration regarding the choice of words in a recent post.

Even sic(k) willie has learned not to take posts personally. At least he is doing better. He still gets a little p!ssy when people remind him of his CDV conviction or of the Brazillions of false allegations he refuses to back up.
