Get Used To It, Dude
The media may have gotten Barack Obama elected, but it turns out at least a few of them might actually have the nerve to ask him tough questions over the next four years.
And how will Obama respond? Based on his first unfiltered brush with the Washington press corps, not good.
“The One” made a surprise visit to the White House press briefing room last Thursday, apparently expecting to have his rear end kissed by his fawning admirers.
Only that didn’t happen …
Instead, he found himself getting grilled about why he nominated a former military lobbyist (remember, Obama promised us none of them would be appointed to serve in his administration) for the No. 2 job at the Pentagon.
And not only that – the ex-lobbyist was granted a “waiver” exempting him from Obama’s new executive order on ethics.
The question was obviously legitimate, but Obama didn’t like it one bit, saying he wasn’t going to return to the briefing room “if I’m going to get grilled every time I come.â€
Sheesh.
Get used to it, dude.

Kind of cocky, ain’t he? Rush Limbaugh is making sense again.
And while he’s getting used to it, Lady Obama needs to get used to it too. She can’t have it both ways — treated like royalty AND not having a couple Beanie Babies named after the first daughters.
We are in for a L-O-N-G four years!
