Needless to say, the bar was set pretty high for President Barack Obama’s Inaugural Address earlier this afternoon in Washington, D.C.
And while the jury is still out on whether the new President’s “fury” will match his “sound,” we wanted to get your thoughts on today’s big speech.

My take is this: there are many politicians that should start worrying that this man may actually enforce the rule of law. If he only does that, he will have improved my life dramatically. Political persecution should not ever be tolerated and it is ” fixin” to get noticed, because I am tired of living it right here in South Carolina right in front of every human being’s eyes…..

Obama is certainly capable of whipping a crowd into a frenzy, but I thought the speech was exactly what it needed to be — a sobering dose of reality. I didn’t vote for Obama, but truthfully, have become cautiously optimistic that perhaps he is, indeed, the right man at the right time. He appears off to a solid start & I wish him well.
It could cost him dearly, but Lindsay Graham is also to be commended for his statesman-like willingness to work with the new administration. I believe the take-no-prisoners partisanship of Dubya’s snake chunkers is as responsible as the left wing loonies for the poison atmosphere that has prevailed for about long enough in Washington.

Lindsay Graham would split the difference with the Devil…over his mom’s soul.
He is a stain on this state. Republicans love him becasue he is “big time”…but that is he has betrayed them seems not to bother them one bit. Pity that.
