The Nazis Are Watching …

They probably can’t “blitzkrieg” anything other than an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, but we’ll give those kooky neo-Nazis credit for one thing – they’ve got their fingers on the pulse of First Amendment issues in this country.

How so, you may ask?

Well, apparently our story on S.C. Sen. Robert Ford wanting to outlaw public profanity has become quite the hot topic over at one of the nation’s leading white supremacist web sites, Stormfront.org.

Devoted to advancing “White Pride World Wide,”Stormfront.org serves as a primary news source as well as an online community for these wanna-be Third Reichers.

Needless to say, Sen. Ford’s proposal hasn’t been particularly well-received by the Aryan Brotherhood, and that’s before these goose-steppers figure out that Ford is black … and thus unrelated to Danny.

“That is completely rediculous (sic),” one commenter says of Ford’s legislation in a Stormfront chatroom page.

“I hear you,” another writes. “I was being fasicous (sic). Wish I could spell that word …”

“I wish Sen. Ford would just STFU …” writes another.

Ahh, nothing like enlightened debate, is there?

Frankly, the Nazis are right, though. Sen. Ford’s bill is a joke.

In fact, we went so far the other day as to call it “f*cking retarded” … except we forgot to insert a family-friendly asterick where the “u” would go.

Anyway, as much as we’re glad white supremacists are following this issue (and as much as we will always support their right to free speech), it strikes us that there is a fundamental disconnect here.

Specifically, how can you truly advocate for free speech if you start from the premise that it should be limited to white people?

Frankly, we believe blacks, whites and every color in between should be able to break Ford’s proposed law whenever they f*cking feel like it …
