Utah Likes A Parade

Utah threw a parade.

And why not?

After all, their football team went 13-0 (the only undefeated team in the nation) and beat SEC powerhouse Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.

Beat ‘em worse than “national champion” Florida did, too.

And yet thanks to the frustrating ridiculousness that is the Bowl Championship Series, we won’t get to watch what Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham – and the rest of the country – desperately want to watch.

“Utes-Gators. Neutral site. Winner take all,” the 2008 Bear Bryant Coach of the Year said as his team was honored.

Sometimes this stuff really isn’t too complicated, people.
