I am one of the voter’s on Wally’s list.

The quote that says ‘â€œWe found 365 people who had changed their address on all three forms and who were all living out of the district,â€ he says.’ IS WORNG..

In my case, I still live on JI and should have been able to vote in this election.

Someone with some class would have congratulated Peterson-Hutto and gotten on with their life. Instead of this nonsensical bridge-burning expedition Scarborough has pursued.

BTW… Wally, thanks for accusing me of fraud.

Harrell’s deal with the Dems is just another drug deal. He needs the Dems going into the next two years to keep his seat as Speaker. You will see many more deals in the future, all collatoral for saving face and his job.

I don’t know if you can go back and archive the House session yesterday. I was watching it. When Scarboroughs letter of whatever came across the desk of Harrell, he mumbled something like “Thank God” with a smirk. I may have heard it wrong, but it is worth looking into.

I just wanted to point out that Wally was lying through his teeth when he said that he had all three forms of “Evidence” for all of the voters on his list. The truth is that he had all three forms for 3 voters. Thats 3 out of 18,000. Funny how the “facts” change when nobody’s looking.

“Great coverage”? Ron and Bill must be just plain stupid. Only in a delusional alternative universe does this this post have any legs. Oh, I forgot.

Apparently the majority of your wingnut readers are dedicated Faux News viewers and don’t have a reality-based view of the world.

Ole Wallace presented “proof” such as this: If a voter signed in as Jim Smith, Wallace’s lawyers from Nelson Motors presented change of address forms for J.R. Smythe and shouted “Voila!”. And, BTW, the individual voters who Wallace sought to disenfranchise (now that’s a surprise, a Repugnant Party member trying to keep people from voting!) had the right to notice to defend their right to vote and have it counted. Guess what? Wallace and his bank-tower lawyers didn’t notify anyone.

Katon Dawson and Bobby Harrell had the good sense not to hook up with the flimsy “proof” Wallace presented. This sort of fact-free thread from FITZ is not surprising. My only surprise is that your resident airhead Mande didn’t write it.

Who gives a rat’s ass about Wallace Scarborough? After all, this is a guy who discharged a firearm in his parent’s backyard. Inside the city limits. That doesn’t sound like a guy you’d go to the political mat for.

It appears to me that the leadership took a pragmatic, rather than ideologic, look at the situation, which is what legislators should do (Will: can someone explain this to Sanford?). And if you parse it out, the risk of backlash from the Republican controlled house overturning the will of the voters was far greater than the risk that anything is going to change in Columbia because Peterson-Hutto replaced Scarborough.

Throw in the fact that Peterson-Hutto is MUCH easier on the eyes and you got yourself a no-brainer.

Katon Dawson is the perfect example of why the GOP in this state, and the country, is dropping like a stone. Self-interested, and narrow minded, they sacrifice any principle for personal gain.

Every day we get up, and as free men and women, we have the opportunity to make our state a better place to live. But every day the Katon Dawsons of the world seek glory and personal gain …and thereby trashing the bond between the people and our party.

I pray that we can rid ourselves of these dolts and find people that will serve, and I mean SERVE, the people that elect them.
