A Slip? Or A Sign Of The Times?

We’ll be honest, when our girl Mande forwarded us a picture attachment this weekend that included the words “slip” and “Nancy Pelosi,” we almost threw up in our mouths a little bit.

We didn’t want to click on it … not at all. Not even a little bit.

Thankfully, though, this picture has nothing to do with Nancy Pelosi’s slip showing … and everything to do with Yahoo! News and Reuters momentarily forgetting what political party President-elect Barack Obama belongs to.

Barack the Republican? Really?

So it’s a “mental” slip … and one that, let’s face it, is entirely excusable given the lack of any real difference between America’s two decaying political edifices.

Seriously, people. Totally understandable.

R = Right. As in on the right side of the picture.

Hmmm … is that why the same parenthesis designation is applied to Pelosi as (D-CA)? And while it’s impossible to tell the difference between Repubs and Dems these days, we’re gonna go out on a limb and guess that people can still figure out who’s who in an Obama-Pelosi pic …

Put the bong down, Terry.

Isn’t this one party rule just grand? This party has has inflicted the hangover to end all hangovers: BANKRUPTCY

From South Carolina to California states are wallowing in red ink. At a time when a bit of fiscal stimulus would go a long way most states are cutting spending thus spinning the country in a vortex of further recessionary stimuli.

Most Americans are living paycheck to paycheck – and that’s being overly generous.

The Great Ponzi scheme, a.k.a. Social in-Security has folks feeling anything but secure.

The federal government is now printing money at astonishing speeds and bailing out industry after industry only to watch the unemployment numbers ratchet higher. History buffs may recall the lesson on what happens to an economy that takes larger and larger chunks of a country’s GDP: the collapsed U.S.S.R.

Good job Democrats (who, to their credit at least walk their talk), and good job RINOs. Y’all SUCK.

Couldn’t agree more that there is no difference between the “actions”-the results- of Democrats or Republicans- less liberty for the individual and more debt for taxpayers.

Pelosi was informed we were torturing people-Did she try to stop it ? No, she just went along with everything Bush did- and she will go along with whatever Obama wants as well.

The goal is to stay in power – it matters little what is or is not accomplished while in power.
We can bet that Obama and Pelosi and their fellow Republicans will continue to bailout more big banks and backward looking auto companies with money we do not have.
