“Holla!”

We always knew former WIS-TV reporter Lisa Goddard was going to be a big star, but the front page of the Drudge Report?

“Holla!”

Goddard, who now works for CNN radio, landed on the national covering the drama surrounding Illinois Senator Designate Roland Burris, who got rejected on a technicality when he tried to roll up into the U.S. Senate this morning.

This is Lisa’s second big gig as a national reporter, following a stint with AP radio during the 2004 election.

You can check our her bio by clicking here.

Easily the best TV reporter in the business when she stalked the S.C. State House back in the early part of the decade, Goddard has zero tolerance for bullsh*t and a robotic recall of facts and figures – i.e. the last person you want digging around your backyard if you’ve got something buried there.

Of course she’s also one of the most genuinely nice people we’ve ever met, and is perhaps best remembered for yelling out “Holla!” as her trademark greeting.

“Holla” back, girl!

UpdateHat tip to MKA.

Um, who the hell is MKA?

By Spicoli's Police on January 6th, 2009 at 6:40 pm

Yeah — who is MKA? Can I e-mail them my ‘this-may-be-a-crime’ blotters?

MKA: Mustafa Kemal Atatürk

He’s dead, dude.

Who took his place? Does his replacement want to know about potential crimes?

We all like her — she has chutzpah! Matter of fact, I think we should invite her down for a riot or something. Anybody game?

Hey Lisa,
Great Job! Talent, the new sexy. It’s been a while, nice to see you’re doing it.
