Target: Sic Willie

Let’s face it, people – nobody pisses off “all the right people” in this state quite like our founding editor.

Powerful politicians, high society blue bloods, wealthy executives and big-time bureaucrats – all have felt the fury (and the funny) of his poison pen from time to time.

Since FITS inception two short years (or 3,000 articles) ago, the list of enemies Sic Willie has made easily numbers in the thousands.

But the list of readers easily numbers in the millions, which is why his credibility (wait – what?) has begun to come under relentless attack, and the sniper fire following some of his bigger stories has begun to intensify.

Not surprisingly, it appears that some cohesion is beginning to develop within the anti-Sic Willie movement.

In fact, one of Sic’s favorite clay pigeons, RINO consultant J. Warren Tompkins, has reportedly given the green light to a “funded blog venture” aimed at taking down the FITS empire.

Described by one source as a “moderate take,” rumor has it the venture will be run by these clowns – which would actually represent a more aggressive approach than Tompkins’ previous “funded blog venture,” which we also ran out of town on a rail.

As in “Boom, like that,” people.

Somewhat surprisingly, Sic isn’t responding to these recycled antagonists with his typical “bring it on” testostericity.

“In this economy, I’m just glad to be giving somebody a job,” he said.
