This Midget Kills Us
A 5′ 6″ midget joined forces with some of flag-happiest referees we’ve ever seen to knock the Indianapolis Colts out of the playoffs in the first round … again.
Questionable calls gave the San Diego Chargers – a team that shouldn’t have even been in the playoffs – three key first downs on the opening drive of overtime, setting up a game-winning 22-yard touchdown run by midget Darren Sproles, who amassed a ridonkulous 328 all-purpose yards to once again sink Indy’s Super Bowl dreams.
Of course, as impressive as Sproles performance was, our game ball would go to San Diego punter Mike Scifres, who pinned the Colts inside their own ten yard line five friggin’ times.
Absent Scifres, it’s doubtful that the Chargers would have pulled this one out.
Sadly, as much as we’d like to blame this one on the refs or some lucky punter, we knew the second the Chargers backed into the playoffs that Indy’s goose was cooked.
Our beloved Horsies just don’t match up well against San Diego, people … in fact they never have.
It’s crazy, because by all accounts the Chargers sucked this year, and yet they’ve now bounced mighty Indianapolis from the playoffs two years in a row.
Needless to say, the man tears are flowing like oil here at FITS headquarters.
Forget the Patriots. These guys have become our new nemesis.
Oh well, at least they’ve got smokin’ hot cheerleaders.

Somebody call the waaaaaaaaaaaaaambulance. Seriously — blaming the refs? That’s pretty lame, Holmes. As a Carolina fan, you should be able to recognize when your team gets pwn3d, like Vierdsen’s did in the Sugar Bowl on Friday. Your team lost the game, not the zebras.

Wes,
Are you stalking man? It’s like 2 in the morning.
And we clearly blamed the refs AND that damn midget Darren Sproles.
“Little people, big world” our asses.

On the positive side, Manning will have lots of time to rest up for the Pro Bowl. Maybe he can hang out with Jay Cutler?
