I know several local county parties have used their resources to help other states and counties. I know from personal experience, that we did this in Anderson County. When I was Chairman in Anderson, we called Florida and Ohio for Bush in 2004. Just this year, members of our party called Georgia and other states. We were very fortunate to have The Pickens County GOP calling in Anderson for some of our candidates. I say this to let you know that we, as Republicans, help other states and counties to reach their goals of winning races. I don't see any thing different here. Katon has been an excellent Chairman. We are recognized as one of the most Republican states in the country. I think a lot of that can be attributed to him, his energy, and his dedication. He also surrounds himself with some pretty good folks down at the SCGOP HQ. I have been involved in Republican politics for many years. Our party is stronger and in better financial health now, than in years past. Remember, Katon inherited a deficit and a pending FEC investigation and fine. He's raised millions and we have won a majority of the races in the state. I think the SCGOP has done the right thing. I think you are barking up the wrong tree here.
