A Big Fat “Who Cares”
Relax, people. We could never “not care” about Sarah Palin. It’s just not possible. She’s a walking Nair commercial, remember?
And we loved her long before anybody thought she was Vice Presidential material. Well a month before at least.
Anyway, the big fat “who cares” in this case goes to former President George H.W. Bush, who in addition to still being alive is reportedly pissed off that the Alaska Governor and former GOP veep nominee isn’t returning his phone calls.

… former President George H.W. Bush is a bit miffed that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin hasn’t returned his phone calls of congrats for a good effort in the presidential election. Our source ran into the 41st prez recently at a Texas restaurant. When the subject of Palin came up during their chat, Bush told of twice phoning her office but never receiving a call back …
He shrugged it off as staff error, but our source says he was clearly perplexed. A Palin aide says the guv didn’t get the message, as odd as that sounds. “At this time, we are not aware of any attempts by President Bush to get in touch with the governor, but again, she would be honored to receive a call.” So if you are reading, 41, try again.
Seriously, could George H.W. Bush be any lamer?
And while this obviously isn’t as embarrassing as that time he got caught (allegedly) playing grabass with C3PO, it’s close.
Honestly, would you call George H.W. Bush back? Talk about a one-way ticket to a non-riveting conversation.
In fact, the only point to take his call would be to ask him whether or not he dropped Jorge Dubya as a child, but then again we all know the answer to that …
