However, because of the economic crash and unemployment numbers of Americans splashed all over the evening news, People are no longer driving by that construction site, grocery store, restaurant, or car wash without noticing the lack of African,Asian,Latino,or European Americans doing the work...And it's starting to piss them off. When the economy turns around we do not want to return to mass illegal immigration. We need strong workplace enforcement so that no matter what, our nation is not used as a doormat for the failures of our dysfunctional neighbors. And we need strides in mechanization so unbearable jobs are a thing of the past. I still think the issue here isn't so much Americans not wanting to do these jobs (somewhat true) but that there are too many taxes and regulations keeping employers from wanting to hire people for these jobs. If people can't make enough they'll look for other work and employers will have to raise wages.
