Blago: Who Else Will Fall?

The Rod Blagojevich scandal in Illinois is far from over, as the funny thing about a governor who got busted trying to sell a U.S. Senate seat is that there are invariably politicians who were interested in buying it.

And the feds have been pretty clear that it’s an “ongoing investigation.”

In fact, two politicians who are much closer to the Blagojevich meltdown than they’d probably like to be are Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and Illinois Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr., although it remains to be seen if they’re in close enough proximity to get burned by this thing.

You can read about Emanuel’s proximity here and Jackson, Jr.’s proximity here.

Also, you can read about Barack Obama saying Illinois politics isn’t corrupt in this article. Funny.

I see Bobby Lee’s hand in this somewhere.

Cmon Fits, it’s no different in Illinois than it is in South Carolina. I can prove it, can’t you?
