“Sarah Palin is the real deal”. Well I’d say she’s as real a deal as he claims to be. Joe the Plumber’s crack needs to get back in the sewer he crawled out from. Joe here’s my advice for you.
a. Shut up.
b. Go back to night school and get your GED.
c. Then study and pass your state plumbing codes exam.
d. Get your Business degree.
e. Acquire enough assets to qualify for your state license/bond.
f. Go to work.
g. Never forget “a”.

General, if I may be so bold as to correct you sir, it wasn’t “We the Generals” that dug the holes – it was “them there soldiers”.

But I digress – time to continue with the plumber metahpor.

The one good thing the bailout achieved was a prevention of a run on every bank in the land since Wachovia and Citibank didn’t have holes big enough to hide their turd-filled books.

Two real culprits in all this mess:
Rating agencies that rated all the sub-prime paper as AAA. HELLO, what the F***, how do you lump little nuggets of sub-prime paper into a huge steamy pile of sub-prime paper and then wrap it in a bow and slap an AAA rating on it????

The big six (or whatever their number is today) accounting firms that turned a blind eye to the pile of manure perculating in the bank’s books and records and gave them their blessing.

Lawyers being lawyers are now wallowing in this steaming putrid pile filing lawsuit after lawsuit against the accounting firms and the rating agencies and the bank holding companies.

Ain’t America grand?
