Kristin Chenoweth Will Be OK

The first time Mrs. Sic Willie tried to get our founding editor to watch ABC’s Pushing Daises, his response was an audible groan.

The second time, he blurted something out about “not being gay” and hating “artsy-fartsy crap,” at which point he proceeded downstairs to play Madden ‘09 for sixteen uninterrupted hours.

The third time, however, Mrs. Sic drew her husband’s attention to the amazing cleavage of the show’s star, Kristin Chenoweth, and the fact that said cleavage is pretty much on display throughout the show.

Needless to say, he hasn’t missed an episode since.

In fact, Pushing Daisies has become a FITS favorite, so much so that we were thoroughly pissed off when we learned last week that the show was getting canceled.

Apparently, Americans are hopelessly addicted to mindless reality TV shows and altogether unaware that they could spend an hour every Wednesday night staring at Chenoweth’s amazing rack … as opposed to the fatty backstabbers on the Biggest Loser.

Seriously, though, this show is brilliant … exquisitely-conceptualized, well-written, impeccably-staged and always fun to watch.

Chenoweth has also become something of a YouTube obsession with us after her amazing rendition of The Bangles’ “Eternal Flame” in last week’s episode.

Of course, racktackular guadala-ton-tons and “come hither” vocal chords aren’t the real reason we fell for this 4-foot-10, forty-year-old hottie.

She’s a bedazzler, people.

“I like to bedazzle,” confirms Chenoweth, smiling. “I have a kit. I just recently wrapped Pushing Daisies and I made all the women bedazzled Pushing Daisies shirts. And that’s what I’m going to be doing over the holidays – bedazzling.”

Yeah … it’s obviously going to take more than a quickie divorce and Sic’s legendary “can I get wit you?” line to pull this one off.
