Scared Of Santa

Talk about excellence in journalism … the South Florida Sun-Sentinel has one of the best photo galleries of all-time on its website today. Aptly-entitled “Scared of Santa,” the collection includes over 200 reader-submitted pictures of kids freaking out upon meeting the white bearded one.

Seriously, you can’t buy entertainment like this. Well, you can, but this entertainment happens to be free.

Coincidentally, we tried to get our founding editor Sic Willie to tell Santa what he wanted this year, but he refuses to even set foot in a mall during the month of December.

“No Santie, Santie scary,” he told us. Looks like these terrified tots would agree …

Some of those Santas freak me out. I have to be honest. I don’t blame a few of those kids.

Really — who can blame them? With all that hair, he probably smells funny too. Food probably gets caught up in there & stuff–who knows what all’s up in there.
