Another Obama Assimilation Update

We’re honestly not trying to be cynical here, but the fact is that Barack Obama still has another 47 days to go before he even takes the oath of office as President of the United States.

And while we know some of you just can’t wait for “The One” to take over, frankly a lot of folks are taking the Obamification of America too far in our opinion.

Like the New York kids who were permitted to name their school after Obama last month, or the county commissioners who yesterday declared the second Monday of every November as “The Barack Obama Day” in Perry County, Alabama.

Yeah … “The Barack Obama Day,” which in keeping with Barackilosophy is a paid day off for this county’s bureaucrats.

The Perry County Commission’s three black members and one of its two white members voted for the Obama holiday.

Commissioner Brett Harrison said Wednesday he voted against the resolution because of the costs to the county, which has a $2.2 million annual payroll and is one of the poorest in the state. He said closing the courthouse would also idle some state employees.

“I’m a Democrat, but just in these financial times, it’s not using the county’s money wisely,” Harrison told The Associated Press by phone Wednesday. “The recognition is certainly well-founded.”

Wait … where is the person with half a brain here who says “are you effing kidding me? this guy hasn’t even been sworn in yet and you dim bulbs want to name a friggin’ holiday after him already?”

And while we’ve never experienced power of the magnitude held by the Perry County Commission, it certainly seems like these elected officials have let it go to their heads.

Obama’s cult of personality is getting out of hand fast, people. First buildings, now holidays … what’s next?

At this rate, Obama will replace Abraham Lincoln on the penny and the five dollar bill … like, sometime next week. By the time he actually takes the podium to give his inaugural address, there’s a good chance his face will already be carved on Mt. Rushmore.

I still find it simply unbelievable that America, not 6 years removed from the largest terror attack in the world, elected a man who not only shares the middle name of nearly all of the terrorists at home and abroad, but also has known terrorist ties……

Maybe the 5 dollar bill will have Obama’s picture on it – but seeing how fast Washington is printing money I would expect the inflation rate to be so dam high we will be burning the 5 dollar Obama bills just to stay warm -

It seems like Obama and Bush are in a race to see how many trillions of dollars they can spend and promise to spend in the next few months.

He really is full of himself. This type of self agrandizement is very scary. That is the type of stuff dictators do.
The Supreme Court is going to be reviewing a lawsuit filed agianst Obama tomorrow regarding him not being a natural born citizen and therefore, ineligible to be president.
