As George W. Bush prepares for his final Thanksgiving in the White House, at least his approval rating with turkeys remains high.
When it’s all said and done, he will have pardoned eight of the birds, which we’re guessing ties the record.
Anyway, here’s a completely unrelated picture of two turkeys examining each other, which we’ll admit isn’t as funny as the Sarah Palin turkey video, but pretty amusing nonetheless.

Actually Bush will have pardoned 9 turkeys. In 2003 he pardoned 2 birds from Missouri. Their names were “Stars and Stripes.” Maybe this is a new record?
