You really think McCain/Palin would have handled this differently? They would have done the same but worse - corporate welfare is the stock and trade of the Republican party. Don't blame the Democrats - the Repubs have been in control for way too long, with only a small glimmer of very faint, centrist light from Clinton's administration.
