Seriously, what are we going to do with Sarah Palin?

We can’t stop loving her (we’re “In Too Deep” Phil Collins-style), but we also can’t stop cringing every time she does things that are beneath her.

And no … we’re not talking about the creepy dude slaughtering Thanksgiving turkeys in the background of this now-infamous video (that doesn’t bother us), we’re talking about Palin’s decidedly sub-par performance in the interview itself – as well as her mistaken assumption that Burberry is still in style.

Anyway …

Yeah … it started off alright, but then she just kept talking … with the second question literally hurting our ears about like that second turkey that got its head dropped into the meat grinder.

Seriously, people. Rushing your Republican clichés to the point that you’re practically tripping over them is no way to “pre-run” for President.

Talk to people … it’s a lot easier that way.

Of course Palin’s real problem is the fact that her shaky performance has now been seen by at least 3 million people on the Internet, a huge online audience that was driven by the fact that – again – some creepy dude is slaughtering turkeys over her shoulder.

It’s sad, people. And again, we’re not talking about the turkeys.

After wowing us in Miami earlier this month with a great new look (which got even greater when she donned short shorts out by the pool), Palin clearly still has a lot of work to do before she’s ready for the rough and tumble 2012 South Carolina Republican Primary.

Which is why the fundamental question we asked shortly after the election still stands … Is she a Barracuda? Or bait?
