Just two days after his epic film Australia premiered to rave reviews and Oscar buzz in his native Sydney, Hollywood hunk Hugh Jackman was named People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” yesterday.
What a week … maybe this Friday he can solve the global economic crisis using nothing but his washboard abs.
Anyway, Jackman was followed on this year’s world’s sexiest list by new “007″ Daniel Craig, Mad Men‘s John Hamm, some kid from a high school musical (what?) and Lipstick Jungle‘s Robert Buckley, whoever the hell he is.
Interestingly enough, we’ve always giggled whenever we heard Hugh Jackman’s name spoken aloud, because frankly it reminds us think of all the times we’ve prank-called people looking for Hugh G. Rection … or his business associate Jack Meoff.
But that’s obviously neither here nor there … congratulations are in order, and it seems like Jackman is a really nice guy, which is why we’re now ready to read about how cute he is with kids before voraciously devouring pictures of him without his shirt on.
