Shameless self-promotion has never been our thing (actually, it’s always been our thing), but yesterday we crossed the 25,000-hit barrier here at FITS, setting a daily traffic record and putting our little website on track to break yet another monthly readership mark (we had almost half a million last month).
Anyway, we gotta send a shout out to the guys over at DeadSpin.com, who accounted for over 7,000 new unique visits to FITS yesterday after they picked up our story on NFL sideline hottie Charissa Thompson.
Equally cool is this … of the 7,000 new readers who stopped by our site yesterday, over half of them decided to hang out on FITS for awhile and click on some other stories – which our marketing people tell us is very, very good.
So thanks, Deadspin dudes.
Of course, as our girl Liz Phair says “it’s nice to be liked, but it’s better by far to get paid,” which is why you fools need to take advantage of our burgeoning audience by coughing up some ad dollars, pronto.
And yes, we do take Greek money.
