Susan Sarandon Gets Naked At 62

When we hear reports of women looking “sensational” above the age of sixty, we tend to take those reports with an ocean of salt.

Typically, those women have a lot of clothes on … and “sensational” is more a term of endearment designed to make them feel good about themselves. Sort of like the medals they give out at the Special Olympics.

Now … women who get called sensational over sixty without any clothes on … that’s truly special.

Take Susan Sarandon, who at 62 stripped down to nothing but a pair of red fishnet stockings and a red feather boa to pose all Alberto Vargas-style for legendary photographer Timothy White … and totally pulled it off.

Obviously, we can’t stand Sarandon’s politics, but if she was willing to let us yank that boa off for a couple minutes we’d be more than willing to go help her Save Darfur or whatever Hollywood’s latest cause du jour is.

We might even help her go register some imaginary people and convicts for ACORN.

Anyway, other celebrities included in the photo shoot were Elisha Cuthbert, Angie Harmon, Gina Gershon, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Kate Hudson, the Olsen twins, Salma Hayek and Cindy Crawford.

Which makes this quote from a recent interview with the elder of the two hotties all the more enjoyable.

“In the middle of an orgasm, do I think ‘do I have too much flab around my middle?’” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“I mean when you are really in an ecstatic place and you look at your child’s face and you are completely happy and you have your family around you - you certainly don’t think about that!” she added.

Well, enjoyably confusing …
