New SC Transparency Study Coming
The issue that has kicked off one of the most bitter, personal power struggles in South Carolina history will be back in the news again this week, sources tell FITS.
Government transparency – which you’d think would be something everybody could agree on – will be the subject of another S.C. Policy Council report that’s currently scheduled for release this Wednesday.
Policy Council spokesman Bryan Cox declined to discuss the specifics of the report, but did say that his organization would be releasing new information showing that South Carolina has the worst standard in the country when it comes to on-the-record (or roll call) voting.
As simple as voting on-the-record should be, the issue has nonetheless spawned an acrimonious showdown between change-minded conservative lawmakers led by Nikki Haley and Nathan Ballentine and the status quo forces of House Speaker Bobby Harrell.
Keep it tuned to FITS for the latest on the transparency debate as well as the surprising State House showdown it has spawned …

SC is getting exactly what it voted for. The rest of us can sleep at night knowing we voted for something different.

Col. Harrell! Why do you insist on eviscerating yourself? This is a fight you cannot win. Transparency! Hot female politicos!
Stopping ramming the middle of the line with your head. Good God, man, even Lee wasn’t this stupid. Flank the bitches and take them in the rear!
Easy there, Lt. Merrill. That is a common military phrase, not a license to have your way with those wonkish hotties! As you were.
