SC Senate Republicans’ Costly Error

Conservative South Carolina Republican Dee Compton lost his State Senate race to Democrat Floyd Nicholson on Tuesday by less than 900 votes … out of 34,000 total votes cast.

That’s a narrow margin, people, one which amplifies any errors that were committed in the days leading up to the election.

And not surprisingly, the knuckleheads over at the S.C. Senate Republican Caucus committed a major error just days before the race, sending mail that was supposed to go to Greenwood, S.C., half-way across the state to Florence, S.C.

Seriously, check it out.

It’s bad enough that the Senate Republican Caucus wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars defending RINO politicians in the primaries (where they went 1 for 4, incidentally), but screwing up something so simple as where to send the mail? When they obviously have limited resources to work with?

No kidding … what the hell were they thinking?

Actually, we were able to pick up some exclusive footage of Caucus Executive Director Lisa Manini Sox after she discovered the mistake … check it out …

…because there’s no way more people actually wanted Nicholson to win.

Compton lost because some smear mail went to the wrong city.

That may well be the worst video I’ve seen coming from YouTube. One shouldn’t have time to yawn twelve times in a 2:28 minute video, and yet, I did. Interesting.

Leatherman and McConnel both supported Dick Elliott. Leatherman is not a shock. McConnel only pretends to be a Republican when he needs to. Supporting Elliott against a good conservative as McKown shows why the GOP in SC is so messed up. The Senate Republicans need to overthrow them both. When they are gone things will get better.

Oh, I forgot to add that the Senate GOP Caucus did not help McKown out at all against Elliott like McKown was promised.
