It’s Good Being Tony Parker

He may be French (and have exceedingly-hairy armpits), but other than that it’s difficult to find anything wrong with Tony Parker. He’s a two-time All Star with three championship rings and an NBA Finals MVP award.

Oh, and he gets to go home to Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria every night.

Yesterday, Parker added to his pimp legend status (PLS) by dropping a Jordan-esque 55 points on the Minnesota Timberwolves, including a twenty-foot jumper at the buzzer to force a second overtime and – eventually – give the Spurs their first win of the young NBA season.

Now, thanks to our love of defense (and hatred of ego), we ordinarily can’t stand watching the National Big-head Association … in fact, we’ve seen Bingo games at the local VFW with more action than your typical NBA contest. And more humility.

But we’re giving Parker his due today … 55 points (and Eva) ain’t too shabby …
