Hollywood Is Creaming Itself Today
You may not have picked up on this, but Hollywood really wanted Democrat Barack Obama to win the presidential election last night.
Yeah, we know … it was really subtle the way Tinseltown stars communicated their preferences, but believe it or not they were supporting Obama last night.
Anyway, The Daily Mail UK has a great post today recapping celebrity exuberance at Obama’s victory and chronicling the celebrity stampede that took place at polling stations across California as Hollywood’s hottest lined up to cast their ballots for “The One.”
Oprah gets top billing in the story, of course, followed closely by Sarah Jessica Parker and P-Diddy, who says he felt like “my vote was the vote that put him into office. It was down to one vote, and that was going to be my vote.”
You did it, Diddy. You did it.
Anyway, the article is probably enough to make some Republicans want to kill themselves, but given the GOP’s abdication of everything it used to believe in, that could be part of our clever plan …

Obama deserves all the respect (or lack thereof) that the liberals have given to George Bush. You reap what you sow.

Maybe it’s just half-and-half, and not full cream, since Hollywood’s other agenda item on election night was not so successful. The vote on Prop 8 seems to indicate Californians may love them some Obama, but aren’t so in love with the love of certain lovers. Lovely.
