La (New) Socialista
It took ‘em long enough, but our friends over at La Socialista (a.k.a. The State newspaper) have finally designed a new online vehicle through which to spew their leftist, establishment drivel.
Unfortunately, the new website isn’t likely to stem the tide of diminished readership that has the paper’s parent company in dire financial straits. Like, really dire financial straights.
More on that situation later today …
In the meantime, we happen to think that the new La Socialista website - like the paper itself -sucks donkey balls.
It takes a lot longer to load pages, and the limited amount of breaking news (which, incidentally, almost always comes from the Associated Press) is a lot harder to find.
Anyway, we’re sure some people will disagree with us, which is why we’ll turn it over now to your votes …[poll id="25"]

The State is a lot of things. It makes a great bird cage liner and a great fish wrapper; although the BIN News staff prefers zip lock bags for fish.
On a more intellectual level it also provides reliable news and information about SC and the world. We can’t say that about sic(k) willie’s little blog.
Everyone makes mistakes. But The State is honest about their mistakes. They correct them. We can’t say that about sic(k) willie.
Ever see sic(k) willie say sorry to the gub’ner for claiming he paid off the family of a “poor little black girl” in Beaufort?
Every see sic(k) willie provide the details he promised when he claimed a Midlands elected official had a Strom Problem? Jakie is waiting!
sic(k) willie and fellow “political wackos” are clear examples of why the “Barack factor” is sweeping the USA. Why, some political anal’ists are even starting to think SC could turn Blue. It can happen. Keep it up, wackos.
