Hudson Tragedy Deepens

We’ll be honest, we had never heard of Jennifer Hudson prior to her appearance in the Sex & The City movie, but it turns out she’s an Oscar-winning actress and singer – someone who rose from the American Idol ranks to an award-winning career based on talent and hard work.

Sadly, that American success story has taken a tragic turn this week, as Hudson’s mother, brother and now (most likely) her nephew have been murdered in a violent killing spree that cops are saying could be family-related.

Police found Hudson’s mother and brother dead on Friday, and this morning they found the body of a young black boy (believed to be Hudson’s seven-year-old nephew) in a white SUV that has been linked to the leading “potential suspect” in the case, Hudson’s brother-in-law William Balfour.

We don’t care who you are … losing your mom, brother and nephew like this (all at once) has got to be devastating beyond belief.
