South Carolina’s status as the nation’s most violent state (per capita, anyway) could be in jeopardy after a string of highly-publicized attacks in Arkansas.
First was the brutal murder of the state’s Democratic Party Chairman back in August.
Then last week came reports of a mysterious, unprovoked assault against local TV anchor (and Greenville, S.C. native) Anne Pressly.
Tragically, Pressly died of her wounds over the weekend.
Now, CNN is reporting that two people have been shot dead on the University of Central Arkansas campus.
Seriously, Arkansas? WTF?
Do we need to come over there and start pumping some Marvin Gaye over your state’s public address system?
“Only love can conquer hate,” you bunch of Ozark inbreds. Now stop killing each other and get back to cracking corn and not caring, or whatever the hell it is that people do in Arkansas.

You are surely right that only love can conquer hate. But then your calling us a “bunch of Ozark inbreds” does not show any love coming from your fair state. Your ending your diatribe with “whatever the hell it is that people do in Arkansas” shows how ignorant and stupid you are. We’ve had a long run of “conservative values” in Arkansas that has made a lot of people angry and violent, as in the rest of America. People who advocate for non-violence are ridiculed as being weak and soft and unrealistic. Most of Arkansas is peaceful, except for Little Rock and surrounding, urban areas, whcih are not in the Ozarks, BTW. It looks to me as though you need to pacify your own state before you start insulting others.

People from South Carolina have a lot of nerve calling Arkansans backwards. Not only is Northwest Arkansas (the Ozarks) one of the fastest growing and most progressive areas of the country, but it is any visit to Charleston will reveal that South Carolinians are still fighting the Civil War.

FYI- I have lived all over the US, let me say that the area of Glenwood, AR is so backward and corrupt the locals joke about the fact that the cops know who’s selling Meth and don’t care. They all talk about how corrupt this part of the country is because they are all RELATED in some way! It is sickening that this state cares so little it does nothing to clean this sort of C*** up!
