Whenever we approach women in politics about being featured on our website, there’s always either an uneasy silence on the other end of the line or borderline hyperventilation about whether or not we’re going to say anything inappropriate about them.
Which in a lot of ways reminds us of high school.
Anyway, Nicole Cobb doesn’t have time for any of that.
Since jumping into Republican politics full-time earlier this year on the presidential campaign of former U.S. Senator Fred Thompson, Cobb literally hasn’t stop working long enough to worry about her “image.”
Her efforts have paid off, too, as she’s been instrumental in several victorious Upstate campaigns, including one that knocked off an 18-year incumbent in a contentious GOP primary, and another that ousted a sitting GOP state senator.
In her spare time, Cobb has also helped charter the first Young Republican’s club in Spartanburg County.
“Nicole decided to step out on her own, jump in with both feet, and has quickly become a Republican leader in Spartanburg County,” says friend and fellow political babe Somer Grasser. “She’s an example to all politically active women.”
It turns out both Cobb and Grasser (who we’ll be doing a story on soon) are also examples to Sic Willie … of totally smoking babes who bring smarts, strength and sex appeal to a political process sorely lacking in all three areas.
They’re also two Republican hotties who haven’t forgotten the principles their party was founded on.
