Rethinking Mandy “Whatever Whatever”
We’ve been pretty tough on S.C. Democratic Senate candidate Mandy Powers-Norrell in the past, but that was because we’d only seen her wearing pantsuits.
Well, thanks to a photo published today by the Palmetto Scoop, we now know the woman they call Mandy “Whatever Whatever” also wears skirts … and we gotta be honest, there’s something about a leggy liberal sitting astride the front seat of a fire truck that we really, really (editor’s note: really) like.
“Poor Mandy Powers Norrell,” Scoop editor Adam Fogle writes. “All she ever wanted to do was get (her) picture made with vice presidential candidate Joe Biden and show off her legs to the boys at the firehouse as part of her bid to knock off an incumbent “Republican†Senator …”
Whoa there, McLovin’ … and y’all thought we were sexist?
Anyway, Powers-Norrell may be the most pro-gay, pro-ACLU candidate this state has ever seen, but we’re pretty sure her legs just told us to ignore all of that (and this and this) so we could focus our attention on them.
Which fits in nicely with our editorial philosophy, incidentally.
The Scoop was an equal opportunity hater, though, calling Powers-Norrell’s GOP opponent Mick Mulvaney a “really liberal Republican,” despite the fact that he was one of only six lawmakers in the entire General Assembly to earn an “A+” grade on the S.C. Club for Growth’s recently-released fiscal report cards.
Of course with legs like Powers-Norrell’s, it’s easy to see how Fogle might have gotten himself confused.
UPDATE – Hmmmm … maybe Powers-Norrell’s sexy legs aren’t why Fogle is calling Mulvaney a “really liberal Republican?” Turns out Fogle’s employer, Richard Quinn & Associates, has a fat contract with the liberal special interest group formerly know as the “S.C. Trial Lawyers Association,” of which Powers-Norrell is a member.

I think Adam meant really libertarian republican. Thanks to the link to that scorecard. That may be the dumbest list of votes i have ever seen. Outcome based.

you and adam are both paid political hacks sick, you may be better at hiding it than he is but you are the same and you both are same from the cut cloth.
also adam is in a wheelchair and you attack him this way? do you hate paralyzed people the same as you hate women?
plus where is your proof that adam is a paid employee of richard quinn or that richard quinn represents the trial lawyers?
that is the LAST group you want to falsely accuse.

“S.C. Club for Growth, South Carolinians for Responsible Government and Conservatives in Action – three organizations that state Rep. Harold Mitchell collectively refers to as the “Gangs of New York” because of their ties to private school voucher proponent and New York millionaire Howard Rich.”

Tiger-
We’ll take our chances … we got the info confirmed from the best of all sources, so we’ll see if the trial lawyers wanna come after us for it.
We doubt they will.

You truly are the biggest hypocrite I think I’ve ever seen. You post this sexist shit, and have the gall to blast Bobby Harrell about a “making copies” comment. Which, you know was totally taken out of context, as most things you post are.
