Now Bush Wants Free Markets?

We enjoyed hearing President George W. Bush stress the importance of free markets over the weekend as European leaders pounced on our nation’s diminished financial position in the world in an effort to further exert their socialist will on our citizens and taxpayers.

“It is essential that we preserve the foundations of democratic capitalism – commitment to free markets, free enterprise, and free trade,” Bush said.

Of course, it would have been much nicer had Bush actually recognized the importance of those commitments to “democratic capitalism” before he initiated the biggest government intervention in our nation’s economy since the New Deal.

Anyway, no word yet on the status of the Secret Service guy who obviously had to dive in front of the bolt of lightning headed for Bush’s head the second he gave this quote …

Well Bro, while what you say is true….wait for Husseins solution to the mess. Powell said Hussein showed stateman like qualities when reacting to the mess the Dems made, not so, the little peckerwood was terrified he wouldn’t be able to vote present and would actually have to make a decision he could be held to. If elected, the first 6 mths will be a honeymoon….then watch the lame stream media.
