Good For Tom Brady

He may be out for the season with a knee injury, but clearly three-time Super Bowl champ Tom Brady (a.k.a. “Poopie”) isn’t gimping around in his personal life.

According to the New York Post, Brady may be close to tying the knot with his supermodel girlfriend Gisele Bundchen, someone we’re guessing is a lot more fun to roll around with than a sweaty defensive lineman …

Anyway, from the story:

It looks like Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are ready to take the plunge. Sources tell Page Six the Patriots’ quarterback and the Brazilian supermodel are planning a wedding reception at Tavern on the Green. “They were recently there, and Brady had a long chat with Broadway Joe Namath,” a spy said. Reps for Bundchen and the restaurant had no comment. Brady’s flack didn’t get back to us.

At this point, it’s really difficult to imagine how Tom Brady could get any cooler. He might as well have just solved our nation’s financial crisis while leaping from a burning building with a newborn in his arms … all on a bum knee!

Of course, sources tell us that Brady forgot to go back into the building and get the Persian cat that belongs to your grandmother, which is something we never forget to do while simultaneously solving financial crises and pulling off dramatic rescues from burning buildings.

“Cough, cough …” yeah, we’re okay … “cough, cough” … it’s just a little smoke.
