Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin’s guest appearance boosted Saturday Night Live to its best ratings in over a decade last night, even though our founding editor’s fantasy of her making out with Tina Fey never transpired … well except for that moment during the show when we briefly dozed off.

Anyway, Palin’s two clips can be seen below, and while the scorching hot Alaska Governor (who we were hot for even before she was picked as John McCain’s running mate) never directly interacted with her impersonator – and decided not to sing a rap song that she had originally rehearsed for the show – we’ve got to give her props for the way she handled herself.
