Alan Colmes deserves no mention as an honorable liberal. The only purpose he serves is to convince Faux’s easily manipulated viewers that democrats are indeed weak and dishonorable by allowing Hannity to use him as a punching bag.
Rachel Maddow is “it”…and is most definitely Number 1, but she does not have a crew cut and I find her very telegenic. Glad to have a smart liberal on primetime. Career lesbian? The fact that she’s gay is totally irrelevant. I like Olbermann, while he doesn’t invite dissenting points of view, he makes a strong case for democrats very well.
Bill Press and Stephanie Miller of Air America are pretty good as well. I think Randi Rhodes is very bright yet I find her a bit grating at times.

Alan Colmes reminds me of Alan from 2 1/2 men. So nerdy not to mention that he has no backbone to even intelligently defend his own views. Sean Hannity is confident and convinced. Colmes is weak and timid– really not attractive in an anchor, much less a man. Heck, Rachal Maddow has more balls than Colmes!
