Seriously, what is it with chicks named Lindsey (or Lindsay)? It’s like there’s a law of nature that says they’ve all got to be ridonkulously hot … and 100% unavailable.

We’re on the verge of launching a scientific study on that, but until we get our government grant, check out the latest proof of our theory - super smokin’ U.S. ski goddess Lindsey Vonn.

No kidding … one look at the opening video on Vonn’s homepage and you’ll be polishing your poles in no time, people! Ski poles, obviously.

Anyway, Vonn is not only totally babelicious (but lamentably married), she’s also the reigning Alpine Skiing World Cup champion, which we assume has something to do with skiing. And Alpine. And the world.

Oh, and a cup … or a really big crystal ball.

Vonn is also turning 24 on Saturday, so Happy (Early) Birthday, Linds!

At this point, we’d also like to confess that when we said “polishing your poles” earlier, we didn’t really mean ski poles.
