Obama’s the luckiest politician on the planet…no opposition in his Illinois Senate races….no opposition to the US Senate seat in Illinois…and no discernable opposition to the US Presidency.

Why I say eight years (and trust me, I’m no democrat infiltrator): The Bush recession lasts a couple years and all the crap that is going to hit the fan (regardless of who our president is) will be laid on the Bush legacy. The economy will eventually turn and turn just in time for Obama to run for his second term so he can take all the credit for the “change”.

Too bad all the South Carolinian knuckledraggers wouldn’t vote for Romney: someone that can speak eloquently and would be running circles around Obama on the economy.

Time to call it like I see it- the Quinn gang is playing every side in Columbia. They were on retainer for the SC Trial Lawyers, worked for the Indians, run the most pathetic,anti-reform blog in Columbia and have now cozied up to the SC Policy Council (Rick Quinn is chairman). My question is what do the Quinns actually believe in? I would suggest an easy answer: nothing, except money. Think about it- when have you ever heard someone they advise in SC (think McMaster, Graham) talk about their core beliefs and sticking to principles? It's all about compromise, talking points and spin. I will work every day of the next two years to make sure their puppet, Henry McMaster, isn't elected governor. Besides not really believing in anything- McMaster is an intellectual lightweight who will stick his finger to the wind on every important issue facing the state.

Sic One’s right. There is disenfranchisement among the ranks of “Republicans.” I hope people take that disenfranchisement straight to the polls on Nov. 4 and push the button for someone they could actually trust with their children’s and grandchildren’s futures. And it won’t be the bozo with the R or the D.

Hey, maybe this will be like when members of a church get riled up and go off to start their own church. The politics of *that* is quite fascinating. There are whole new vistas waiting if people will just vote their principles this year!!!

Only two political flavors has become asinine.
