I would like to see Inez Tenenbaum re-enter in the political scene in South Carolina. As someone who was considered a leading candidate for U.S. Secretary of Education and known for her moderate stances in issues. Inez has what it takes to win the governor's manison for the Democrats and move South Carolina into the right direction again.

I clicked in Inez, but I'd like to see someone who's less cozy with the Cola crowd -- not so much the mythical "outsider," just not someone who's been sitting around thinking about when they were going to run for Gov for the past 20 years. Someone who's ambitious and smart but has been channeling that into something more useful than the statehouse and actually accomplishing things in the real world. Sort of like Linda Ketner, but not Linda Ketner. Unfortunately, I don't know who the person is but surely there's some business/industry/non-profit CEO out there who fits the bill.

Not that I think that person would win, but man... wouldn't it be nice to cast a vote for someone you actually were optimistic about. I've been voting for SC Governors for 20 years and it would be a nice change.

FITS who cares? Unless another David Beasy can manage to lose, Democrats will NEVER win the governor's chair this century.

Just focus on who the Republicans choice is and that will be the next govenor. I realize that could kill a consultant's budget if Republicans in this state realized winning the primary was the same the same thing as winning the office in this state.
