La Socialista Can’t Spell … Again
We’ll be the first to admit that this site ain’t exactly typo free, people. But the good news is there’s an incredibly classy dame who seems to enjoy pointing out our occasional grammaticide of the English language. Plus, our founding editor gets to imagine her doing so in nylons and library glasses, which we think makes it a “win-win” for all concerned.
Anyway, as much as our ADD and poor typing don’t mix from time to time, at least we get the friggin’ headlines spelled correctly here at FITSNews – which is more than we can say for our friends over at La Socialista (a.k.a. The State newspaper).
Seriously, we hate to pile on these guys given their latest corporate misfortune, but this is starting to get ridiculous.
You may remember La Socialista’s recent headline involving a local “schol” board chief (pretty ironic considering the paper’s blind allegiance to our state’s failed education establishment), well today they took their spelling bee skills to the next level with an article about Barack Obama being “inclinded” to move ahead with a debate against John McCain.
That’s right, “inclinded.”
Oh, and in case anybody’s forgotten, La Socialista can’t count, either.
Oh well … fortunately for all those South Carolinians who’ve grown tired of the paper’s rabid big government philosophy and oppressive sanctimoniousness, they’re also having a bit of a problem these days selling newspapers.
