Road Trip
“Awww-hawww, hush that fuss” indeed, people. We’re gassing up the new FITSNews bus and hitting the asphalt tomorrow!
What’s the deal, you may ask? Well, we’re heading out on a day-long road trip up (and then back down) a little stretch of road called Interstate 95 – which may or may not have been the inspiration for that band “Southern Culture on the Skids.”
Anyway, it ain’t exactly the Straight Talk Express, but the Sic Williemobile (above) is immaculately appointed with the latest in satellite navigation, computer hookups, big screen cable TV’s and two fully-functioning empty Gatorade bottles … err, bathrooms.
Plus our driver (Darryl), our roadie (his brother Darryl) and our in-flight attendant (his other brother Darryl) are always looking to Deliverance … err, deliver us where we’re going in high style.
Expect light posting tomorrow but definitely tune in for some updates from the road as we chase down one of the biggest stories to hit the S.C. political scene in a long time …

That “big screen’cable’tv” may cause some problems for the vehicles behind you.

No worries … it’s angled. And our rich Corinthian cardboard window treatments will probably help, too.

So give a hint. What’s the story?

A hint will be included in the song lyrics of “tomorrow’s tuneage …”
