Palin Hacked

So Sarah Palin’s e-mail address got hacked into yesterday and several private messages of the GOP diva were posted on various websites. Regrettably, none of those e-mails had anything to do with her undying love for our founding editor, or her willingness to “go there” with Mrs. Sic Willie, who is perhaps even more enamored with McCain’s popular veep pick than our resident bad boy is … which is saying something.

Nonetheless, the violation of Palin’s privacy has been cleverly played by her detractors as a legitimate issue.

Specifically, they want to hit Palin on conducting government business via a private e-mail address – which is something that’s obviously a sore spot for Republicans giving the Bush administration’s perpetual abuse of this tactic.

Will it work? Who knows … our bud Chris Cillizza over at The Fix has a great post up this morning about Palin’s enduring “Teflon” quality – i.e. the fact that none of the attacks against her seem to be sticking.

Equating Palin at such an early stage of her career to political giants like Reagan and Clinton – whose careers defined the term “Teflon” – is high praise indeed, and based on Palin’s strong approval ratings it’s obviously warranted.

Anyway, the issue of Palin’s e-mail infiltration is going to go one of two ways – either the allegations of abuse will stick or people will view this as yet another effort by the Democrats to drive down the popularity of a woman who seems to defy their best smear campaigners at every turn.

How will Palin's e-mail being hacked be perceived by voters?

  • Scandalous for the Democrats (83%, 29 Votes)
  • A mixed bag (11%, 4 Votes)
  • Scanalous for her (6%, 2 Votes)

Total Voters: 35

She’s Teflon, cause she’s a libertarian Republican, not a typical Conservative. And the liberal media and Far Leftists don’t know how to take libertarians. We confuse them. They’re so used to attacking prudish boring Conservatives. A libertarian, whose hip, good-looking, tolerant, sportsy and youthful, comes along, and they’re like “what the ‘F’?

Same thing happened in Alaska when she first ran for higher office. The old guard didn’t know how to take this “libertarian upstart.” They tried all sorts of things, even a whisper campaign that she was a “closet libertarian.”

Well, it just increased her popularity.

IMO, Palin’s popularity is due to her conservative views. McCain might as well turn in RINO membership card and join the Demoncrats party for all his liberal positions on amnesty, etc., but Palin is another story.

If Americans had been given a real conservative choice months ago, we wouldn’t now be considering ‘holding our noses’ and voting for the Manchurian candidate at all.

I’d feel much more comfortable voting for team if the ticket was flipped, or if it was a Ron Paul/Sarah Palin ticket. Many of y’all out there are planning to vote Repub as the ‘lesser of two evils.’ In just a few short years you’ll be looking back on your decision and kicking yourself swiftly.

. . . Sarah So-White (with dwarf hero Old Salty) wanna dominate

** Welcome to Dominatrix Sarah’s little world of pain **

Old Salty is a doddering dupe. Now he’s just along for the ride into an all-American abyss of fundamentalist political ideology, Dominionism.

Dominatrix Sarah comes “wrapped in a flag, carrying a cross.” She is exactly the gender traitor dominionists need to jumpstart their wet dreams of a holy, xian dictatorship.

Like some pernicious Tinkerbell, Dom Sarah would make “The Handmaid’s Tale” come painfully alive. Voiceover the trailer: In a polluted dystopia policed by xian thugs, a rebellious 20 year old finds herself condemned to sexual slavery because she possess a rare gift, her fertility. (adapted from IMDb.com/title/tt0099731)

Margaret Atwood’s novel depicts a society where women have been stripped of all rights. Gilead, an Afghan-like slice of a sundered America, is a nation ruled by transnational corporate overlords.

Dominatrix Sarah really energizes core Bible-Dom fans. She’s a true believer, a puritanical atavism. What’s wrong with whipping up fervor among consenting male voters? Dom Sarah wants to treat all American women to some faith-based, strict discipline.
