Back In The Saddle

We walk these streets … Loaded six strings on our backs … We play for keeps … Cuz we might not make it back … We been everywhere (cue Richie Sambora backup vocals) … still we’re standin’ tall … we seen a million faces … and we’ve rocked them all.

Alright, alright … that was gay. But FITSNews has seen over three million hits this year (no joke), and while we’re not saying we “rocked them all,” they sure as hell rocked our old Internet server.

Seriously, people. Y’all went through that thing like butter.

Anyway, as you may have noticed, all that new traffic has made our website something of a hit-or-miss proposition lately – much like our founding editor in the bedroom.

The good news is we’re now locked and loaded on a “dedicated private server,” which Nancy, Mande and the rest of the FITS gals are still explaining to Sic Willie, who remains convinced it has something to do with porn.

In fact, if we had a nickel for every time he’s e-mailed us today asking whether or not the new server “gets porn,” we wouldn’t have to sell ads.

Speaking of which, you’ll be seeing a couple of new ads in the coming days and weeks, but none of those annoying pop-ups, screen-sliders or noise-makers. Those things make us want to punch holes in our monitors, and we assume you feel the same way.
