Hello Herzog
Few things cause our founding editor to pull wood faster than resolutely-expressed, unpretentiously articulate anti-PC opinion … particularly when it’s coming from a 20-something blonde Republican who wears green eye shadow, black lace tops, pink dirty nothings and too much blush.
What can we say? Sic Willie has seldom encountered such a vortex of voluptuousness.
Her name? Ashley Herzog.
Her job? Writing columns for Townhall.com, one of the country’s most unabashedly conservative websites.
Herzog is due for another entry soon, but in the meantime check out her latest entitled College Classes for Conservatives To Avoid.
It may be the greatest thing we’ve ever read, well aside from WWTDD. Here’s an excerpt:
I once signed up for a Women’s Writing class to fill a requirement. Did we study the classic works of history’s best female authors, such as the Bronte sisters and Jane Austen? Nah. Instead, the class mostly revolved around short pieces by untalented women who whined about America’s “sex/gender system.” The only assigned book was the biography of Assata Shakur, a female Black Panther who fled to Cuba after she was convicted of murdering a cop.
You gotta love it when they put the “liberal” in liberal arts, people.
