Sic’s Ann Coulter About-Face
It could be the hint of midriff at the bottom of that picture, or it could be the fact that her website was kind enough to send us like eleventy kabillion hits today. Either way, our founding editor is rethinking his position on right-wing commentator Ann Coulter.
If you’re new to our site, Sic Willie has previously labeled the best-selling author and conservative politico as “the end result of an anorexic male giraffe humping a heron bird.”
He also put out an “emaciated giraffe alert” for the state of South Carolina when Coulter spoke earlier this year at Furman University, and then proceeded to deride the GOP student group that invited her as having “never gotten past second base - individually or collectively.”
Hmmm …
And while we still think Coulter is a classic “Philly Cheese Steak girl” (as in needing to eat one), we’re obviously grateful to her for sending us so much traffic this morning that our website actually crashed for a couple of hours. Seriously, thanks a lot.
But as we were looking up Coulter’s mailing address for the purpose of sending her our tech support bill, we got to thinking to ourselves and couldn’t come up with a single good reason why wouldn’t she and Sic wouldn’t get along.
Hell, they’re both rabidly conservative, wildly influential in their respective political universes and more inflammatory than your father’s hemorrhoids.
Who knows? Maybe they could be each other’s “Dirty Little Secret.”

Dude, we told you you were wrong about Coulter back when you bashed her.
Why do you make a habit out of bashing the very conservatives who are trying to advance the same principles as you? I don’t get it and it really confuses me. Every time I get close to publicly labeling myself a “Will Folks Conservative,” you turn around and bash one of our own. I don’t get it.

A “Will Folks conservative?” Yikes. That’s one sticker you probably don’t want to wear out in public. Anyway, point taken, although a lot of our “bashing” is solely for entertainment value. Now when it comes to bashing the RINO Bobbycrats and Leatherheads here in SC, it’s obviously a different story.

Ann Coulter is a nothing but a media whore - pumping out her misguided, simplistic, venomous spew to anyone “right” enough to listen. The idea that she is popular and sells any of her trash just points out that South Carolina does not have a lock on the dumb, gullible, and uneducated.
