They’re Back
Remember those alleged illegal immigrants who were caught working on the south steps of the S.C. State House earlier this year?
Yeah … they’re back.
Based on a tip from one of our sources, FITSNews photographers captured exclusive images this afternoon of yet another work team from Salem Contracting of Matthews, N.C., the same company which allegedly used undocumented workers to repair the State House steps back on May 16.
This time, the crew was working on the north steps of the building and included several additional workers.
We tried to get a comment from the contractor once again this afternoon, but no dice. In the past, Salem has declined to provide any information about their workers.
So what’s the big deal?
Well, between now and the last time we reported on these workers, South Carolina supposedly passed the nation’s “strongest anti-immigration law.”
It would indeed be interesting if it turns out lawmakers still can’t even keep illegal aliens off their own front porch.

You may want to look into the company that was working on Irmo High School this year. None of them even spoke english.

Another illegal alien post? Come on FITS! I know you can do better than this!!! Lets give them visas and let them pay taxes into the system just like everyone else…There is no way in hell we can herd the millions of illegals in this country out of it…
Seriously, if they want to work, hell let ‘em work, earn a wage and pay taxes to help pay for the never ending, expanding government we have thanks to RINOs and DEMs alike!

Self deportation through enforcement and attrition.
Migrating to America legally is, and should be, a long, drawn-out procedure
meant to protect the interests of American citizens. It involves more than
simply jumping a fence and heading north in pursuit of free health care,
education, food stamps, and other handouts paid for by U.S. taxpayers.
Legal immigration means enduring rigorous hurdles like background checks to
detect a criminal background or possible ties to terrorists; medical
examinations to detect diseases still prevalent in third-world nations, but
long since eradicated here; proof of financial solvency so as to prevent
newcomers from becoming a burden on U.S. taxpayers, and testing for
knowledge of American history and English skills.
Those who have jumped a fence into America in order to avoid our
immigration checks are not immigrants. Rather, they are invading criminals,
with no claim whatsoever to the welcome mat extended to legal immigrants.
Such people do not deserve recognition or sanction by the United States,
and should be rounded up and deported as soon as possible, without
exception.
Another word game played by pro-illegal aliens is to call these miscreants
“undocumented.” The implication of this term is that the invaders are
simply missing a piece of paper or two, probably some unnecessary
bureaucratic red tape designed to keep brown people out.
In truth, illegal aliens have invaded our nation, leaving America
vulnerable to undetected crime, terrorism, disease, and financial
devastation at the hands of people with no legal or moral justification for
being here.

Sarah – WOW – I want to party with you :)
Another word play now being used is to term these folks “migrants” when in fact they don’t migrate back like other “fowl” species.

A better name for these folks is “criminal invaders” and the companies that employ them should lose their business licenses. They are stealing jobs from citizens of this country and legal immigrants. Your Republican US Senator Lindsey Graham wants to grant them all amnesty and give them all the benefits that citizens earned legally.

THE GREAT CRIMINAL MIGRATION
By American Pie Hole on September 3rd, 2008 at 6:53 pm
I live in the sanctuary Village of Southampton NY where immigration is controlled by landscapers and the Hispanic Mafia. They have filled our schools to over 30% and 60% in one school and our elected officials call them homeless. Our emergency rooms are filled and they walk our streets all hours of the night with impunity. Now I hear MS 13 is operating in a nearby town and treating local security guards.
They have the best of all worlds because they get all the US protections and need not follow any of the rules. They need not pay taxes or have valid driving licenses. They have no need for medical, labor or vehicle insurances. They can come here and just go into business cutting the prices leaving citizens to compete at lower prices. They need not ascribe to a standard of living and break various health, housing and zoning laws. They get free education and have free babies. They fill our food pantries and partition for more entitlements. They fill our schools and bring down the educational standard and cost more to educate. They send an untold amount of money out of our communities and the country, tax free. These people and those that exploit them are enemies of the state and they should be dealt with accordingly but our government remains silent.

Teachers in this and other states are forced to teach the children of ILLEGAL intruders into our country. Medical personnel are forced to treat them. The
U.S. government is mandating the breaking of our laws and requiring others to do so. We would go to jail if we assisted other criminals in avoiding prosecution and provided food, shelter, etc. to those criminals AND their accomplices. Show us the law that supports government employees being made to contribute to criminal activities.

According to secret sic(k) willie unnamed sources who hide under rocks to avoid direct sunlight there’s an unnamed Midland’s elected official with a Strom Problem.
Sadly, sic(k) willie won’t be more specific.
As long as sic(k) willie’s sources come from the downside of dirty rocks, this web site will continue to be little more than…dirty rocks.

One point which is greatly missed in this issue is that businesses think they are entitled to an unfettered amount of labor and what is worst Washington seems to go along with them. We know businesses will not do the right and illegal aliens are the next best thing to slavery to improve their bottom line and to be able to give lower bids. Hiring illegals suppresses the wage and benefits to the American worker and that is why businesses like the illegal workers. If employees were at a premium American workers would be treated better and paid more of a living wage. There would be again such things as pensions and bonus packages because employers would want to keep and protect their work force. The worker would be empowered and be rewarded for doing a good job. The greed of businesses are screwing the American worker and our government at all levels are eager to help them.

Pie hole – they wouldn’t be here unless there was a labor shortage. There is indeed a taxpayer-subsidized labor shortage. While there are unscrupulous outfits who hire the cheapest, there are a lot of employers who hire those willing to work.
The ugly truth is that a lot of local labor is poorly motivated, especially for manual labor jobs, and a lot of employers who have hire Hispanics find them to be better workers.
With the amount of gravy we give out in terms of Medicaid (unlimited doctors and hospital visits, no co-pay or deductible), food stamps and housing, those who might fill low-skill, low-wage jobs have no reason to work. The way a lot of those riding the gravy train see it, if they work, they lose benefits, so why bother? Fast food jobs that pay $7-9 an hour can’t even get US-born applicants.
Considering that federal Medicaid outlays double every five years and entitlements are the largest growing part of the federal budget, cracking down on the freeloaders would help control spending and put legitimate Americans back in the labor market. Then cracking down on the illegals would be a lot easier, because a lot of them wouldn’t have lucrative work opportunities.
If you think laws and walls alone will work, look at how well those walls in Berlin, England and China did.
