Goff, Anyone?

By fitsnews • on September 1, 2008

When we first met Angie Goff three years ago, she was freezing her (perfect) buns off outside the South Carolina governor’s office, wearing the cutest pair of red mittens and just trying to stay warm while she waited to interview the state’s chief executive.

We had no idea who she was, or that she’d soon become one of the most well-known, well-liked and well-respected anchor-reporters in all of South Carolina.

Sadly, Goff departed the Palmetto State last November for bigger and better things in Washington, DC, taking a local Emmy with her and leaving a crestfallen contingent of admirers behind. Seriously, people. It was sad. We heard the Hotline guy couldn’t eat for like a week.

Anyway, we’ve got good news today for those of you who have been missing Angie a little bit too much … a link to her new blog up in Washington, the aptly-titled Oh My Goff!

Angie’s got some interesting stuff up, including some hilarious viewer-submitted pics and videos - many from Goff’s SC fans. Like another former SC reporter’s big city blog (Elise Hu’s 67 degrees), we’ve bookmarked OMG and look forward to checking it out regularly.

And yes, OMG has plenty of delectable Angie pictures … which may or may not be the reason our founding editor has the door closed right now.
