So Edwards is ONLY adjusting his “fees” for inflation, gas surcharges, carbon offsets thus his fees are “not really” going up…

One wonders if this means he gets only the “former Senator” rate from Pfizer for his pending slidinfil citrate ads?

Edwards aide says speaking fees not going up

URBANA, Ill. – A former aide to John Edwards say the one-time Democratic presidential candidate isn’t raising his speaking fees.

Jonathan Prince said Saturday that Edwards’ upcoming speeches carry similar fees to those he’s charged in the past. Edwards is set to speak at Hofstra University in New York on September 8th. It will be his first speech since admitting an extramarital affair in August.

Edwards also is to speak on October 14th at the University of Illinois in Urbana, where a student group is paying the former senator’s fee.

Prince says Edwards will donate his Hofstra speaking fee to charity.
