Politicos Are Going Absolutely Nuts Right Now
OBAMA’S SPEECH, MCCAIN’S VEEP PICK SHAKE UP ELECTION
Barack Hussein Obama became the first African-American to accept the presidential nomination of a major party last night, and of course he did it in style - with soaring oratory in a setting befitting an emperor. John Sidney McCain III, on the other hand, is about an hour away from making what some say will be a “transformative” veep pick, either former Democrat Joe Lieberman or Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, from what we hear.
Obama’s speech was described to us by one longtime Hillary Clinton supporter as “pretty compelling, still a lot of hype but he did what he needed to do.” But will that change her vote?
“I don’t know,” she said. “I don’t think this Hillarite can vote for him.”
Before Obama’s big speech had even begun, McCain actually began airing a new TV ad congratulating his opponent for a change.
Cute? Or too cute? We’ll see …

Thank goodness for this election’s bizarre cast — or I wouldn’t have such a fun pastime while my husband screams at silly little men playing football on tv.
Could these bozos have actually provided another option for the PUMA’s? Those who were so ***eager*** to swoon to McCain, the Maverick…and Palin, the FEMALE MAVERICK :0 ????????
…MMA !!!
Like a baby’s first words, it has a certain ~~~tenderness~~~ to it.

I like the new format Willie! Especially the song of the day. Everybody needs a little musical diversion these days. While the circus is in town. [photo above]
McCain has officially perfected the soup sandwich. His first two presidential-ish decisions, and wa-la:
McCain’s Soup Sandwich
======================
1. Picking up Sarah Palin on the “Straight Talk” [read: straight bs] Express & adding her to his ticket — instead of someone actually ready for the job [read: Romney].
2. Somehow being involved in his wife, Cindy, being forced to go on national television in that hideous arm brace. I am sure there are medical [not subliminal] reasons for her wearing that brace on her right arm today. But you can’t cook up a good enough reason for it being that bright-a-shade of PINK.
